Clay Siegall is the co-founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Seattle Genetics. He founded this company in 1998 on a foundation of scientific innovation, research, and drug development. The company was also coupled with a passion for helping patients. Clay’s aim of the company was to help cancer patients in particular. The company is currently one of the leading in the development of antibody drugs the ADCs. In 2011, the company received approval for the production of its first ADC. Clay is advancing in the production of ACDs for the treatment of cancer.

Some include being a member of the National Cancer Institute.

In an interview with Ideamensch in April 14th, 2017, Dr. Clay discloses that there is one strategy that has helped his organization to grow. That is to work in close collaboration with other industry leaders and innovators on oncology drug development. He says that collaboration has seen the different companies place resources in technology and new ideas all geared towards helping patients. He further disclosed that his idea of dealing with cancer was generated by the fact that at the age of 19, he watched his father troubled by cancer till he met his death.
